Well hello there. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work. If you saw something you liked and want to know a little more about the designer behind the keyboard—you’re in the right place. I’m Jackson Philip Folwell, but you can call me Jack.
I’m a Senior Graphic Designer working in the Queen City, Charlotte, NC. I’ve worked for agencies, magazines, and marketing teams. You’ll find a wide variety of work in my portfolio such as layout, print, web, and apparel. Exploring a wide range of project types and media is how things keep interesting and I stay passionate about what I do.
My journey began as an undecided art major, all I knew is I wanted to be creative and make things. Soon I was fascinated by the idea of producing work to be then plastered on billboards and viewed by the masses. I liked the idea of working on sleek chrome machines with the Apple logo so perfectly displayed on the back. So I chose to focus my degree on graphic design. I’ve now been in the industry for 9 years and have learned much from the teams I’ve been a part of. I’m excited for what comes next in my career.
That’s my story - other interests include…video games, movies, Star Wars, nature, traveling, grilled cheese, jet skiing, Halloween, cats, personal finance, Game of Thrones, roller coasters, the paranormal, the beach, running, and ping pong. I also hiked the Appalachian Trial in 2022 and will talk about it endlessly if asked.
